User Identifier Status Report
User Identifier Status is a pre-made default report that shows a breakdown of monetization results by user privacy settings.
When to use it?
- To evaluate the impact on ad revenue of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other similar regulations.
In combination with the browser dimension, understand how the browser’s default privacy settings affect your earnings (lower performance can be expected for Safari and Firefox browsers).
How to use it?
1. Go to the Data Insights tab and click on User Identifier Status. Apply relevant filters, and choose the monetization metrics you are interested in.
2. Analyze how evenly revenues are distributed across different user statuses.
Possible values include:
Active: A user identifier was present and active.
Restricted: A user identifier was present, but its usage was restricted by how cookies may be used. For example, personalization is not allowed.
Missing: A user identifier wasn't present (mainly for Safari and Firefox browsers).
