Troubleshooting Ad Manager MCM Manage Inventory migration

Here at Clickio we put great effort to ensure the MCM migration process is simple and smooth for every publisher. However, some problems may arise during the procedure. Below you will find some common issues and ways to fix them.

If my AdSense account was reset to being inactive, how can I accept the invitation?

To accept the invitation to Google Ad Manager MCM, the AdSense account associated with your email must be active. According to the AdSense Policy program, AdSense accounts are reset if they haven't generated any ad impressions in the last six months. To reactivate your AdSense account, follow this instruction. 

If my AdSense account was disabled, how can I accept the invitation?

To accept the invitation to Google Ad Manager MCM, the AdSense account associated with your email must be active. If your AdSense account results disabled, please follow the steps below:

2. Resubmit your site to the AdSense program by filling out this form. Carefully specify the requested details, and follow the instructions provided by the AdSense Policy Team.

Before resubmitting your site, make sure it has an AdSense ad code.  

I received the invitation to the wrong email address. What should I do?

If the email address to which you received the invitation is incorrect, activate the requested role or permission for that email address by following the instructions below.

Only users with the Administrator role can resolve the below issues.

Enable permission for the user in Ad Manager. 

User’s email is not associated with Ad Manager account

Add the user with “Edit users, roles and teams” permission in Ad Manager.

User’s email doesn't have an Admin access in AdSense

Enable permission for the user in AdSense. 

User’s email is not associated with the AdSense account

Add the user with Admin access in AdSense.

If any of the above issues are not your case, please, make sure to add the correct email address to the Clickio Publisher Platform under Settings > Ad Manager MCM tab and contact your account manager with a request to send a new invitation.

 

Troubleshooting Ad Manager Network account approvement

My Ad Manager account was disapproved. What should I do?

Your Ad Manager account may have been disapproved for one of the following reasons:

  • Non compliant to the Google Ad Manager Partner Guidelines

Make sure to be fully compliant with the Google Ad Manager Partner Guidelines and complete the requested actions in your Ad Manager account. 

  • Duplicate account found

A company should only have one Ad Manager Network account. If you have multiple sites, Clickio should only invite you to create one Ad Manager Network account. Make sure to add all your sites to an already created Ad Manager account and provide Clickio with the email address associated with your Ad Manager account by adding it to the Clickio Publisher Platform under Settings > Ad Manager MCM tab.
