How do we migrate from SPM to MCM?

To migrate from SPM to MCM with Manage Inventory delegation type, publishers must accept the invitation from Clickio (ALZ Software Ltd). The migration process will vary depending on whether publishers have a Google account, AdSense account, or Ad Manager account.

Make note that Google plans to deprecate SPM (the current feature of the product) in mid- 2021. Google will continue to support it until then, but we strongly recommend that you quickly take the steps outlined in the invitation email sent to you, otherwise Clickio will no longer be able to monetize your inventory.

  1. Find the invitation email in your inbox (from Google Ad Manager with the subject “Request to manage your ad inventory”).
  2. Open the invitation by clicking on the View request button.
  3. Sign in to your Google account.
    1. If your email address is associated with an existing Ad Manager Network, make sure that you have “Edit users, roles and teams” permission in Ad Manager.
    2. If your email is not associated with an existing Ad Manager Network, you will need to add that email address as a user with “Edit users, roles and teams” permission to the existing Ad Manager account.
  4. Select an existing Ad Manager account.
  5. Accept the invitation.
